Sperm Donor Campaign - Channel 4
UK
Channel 4 launching campaign to
encourage sperm donors – can you help?
Channel 4 has commissioned the award-winning television
company Ricochet (www.ricochet.co.uk)
to develop a sensitive and informative prime-time documentary
series about the UK’s shortage of sperm
donors.
The series will aim to inform the British viewing public
about just how vital and important sperm donation is,
as well as demonstrating how rewarding it can be.
The series will launch a huge national campaign to
encourage men to donate sperm.
In order to impress upon viewers the desperate need
for more sperm donors, we need our documentary to feature
some real-life stories of people searching for sperm
donors. We are also need to feature and hear the perspective
of sperm donors themselves, donor conceived adults &
parents of donor
conceived children.
We need your help to make the public understand why
sperm donation is so important.
We appreciate that DC is a very sensitive subject and
all communication will be treated with utmost respect
and sensitivity. Even if you are not sure about appearing
on television, it would be fantastic to have a chat
– all conversations will be strictly confidential
and will in no way obligate you to appear on television.
If you are happy to share your story please email Nonie
on nonie.creaghbrown@ricochet.co.uk
or call me on 0207 251 6966.
Many thanks.
