Keisha's Story Posted June 19, 2005 My name is Keisha & I'm 25 years old. I have been trying to conceive for about 15 months now. At the end of December, I finally missed my period. To my surprise I was pregnant. I found out that Thursday that I was 6-1/2 weeks and that had to be the happiest day of my life. Like most women, my doctor said that I was fine, but that Friday I started spotting lightly. I went to the hospital and the doctor said that my hCG level was fine and to come back that Tuesday. I did. To my surprise my hCG level had dropped tremendously. He said that i had to just let the baby pass through or that I may have to have a D&C, but by the time I went back the baby was gone. Since then we've been trying non-stop but still have not had any luck.
