Having gone through many long years of infertility, I felt it only natural to bring some of my experience back to others in the same situation. At first, I published only my story to which the response was overwhelming... The main message was, "We want to read more!" So I began my search for stories, letters and articles that would make coping with infertility easier and let people know that they're not alone.

So whether you're going for intra-uterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF) next week, considering a sperm or egg donation, thinking about using or becoming a surrogate mother -- or you're just making your first appointment with a fertility specialist because you think you've been trying to conceive for too long, this site is for you.

Even if you're just stuck, month after month, with that rotten two week wait, you'll find lots of people who understand you here. Too many.

Believe it or not, it sometimes ends well... my husband and I, after all those years of infertility, 6 IVF cycles (those in the back right are my IVF-FET twins), a late miscarriage and lots of moments of desperation are now raising 6 children together. I hope you enjoy the site and that your story ends happily too!
